The event is accompanied by various attractions such as knightly reconstructions performed by the Viwern group, a knight’s camp, thematic exhibitions and stalls of ancient crafts. The Viven Historical Reconstruction Group is dedicated to recreating various elements of medieval culture – fighting, archery, costumes, cuisine, games and much more.

A barbecue festival will be held during the Historic May Day and a children’s zone will be created. We would like to invite you and your children to Kliczków Castle for a May Day with children. Only with us, as if by magic, you will be transported back in time several centuries and will be able to experience the history of Poland in one day. It will be a spectacle! You can’t miss it!

The May festival will also feature performances by the Excalibur Theater, outdoor concerts and dance workshops performed by the Harvest band, knightly tournaments, horseback riding, medieval fashion, fencing and alchemical demonstrations.

This year’s Historic May Day at Kliczków Castle will be extraordinarily winged thanks to guests from the Winged Feray! Winged friends will be visiting the walls of our Castle, you will be able to learn about their habits, see the giant owls up close and take a souvenir photo.

Also worth seeing during the Historic May Day is a special equestrian show performed by the Duke’s Stables crew. All equestrian enthusiasts are also welcome to attend the Hobby Horse Social competition, which is being held on May 4.
